Letting Go of the Pain of Heartbreak

Whether you're a parent, a teen, a business owner, or a human  who wants to grow... and is going through a new loss event, or  still suffering from a heavy, long-standing loss...
You can learn to let it go.
You can also learn to process and metabolize emotion.

How?

Well, I do have a little hint for you...
Letting go and processing doesn't happen in your mind or in your brain...
It happens in your heart.

And you are wholly capable of navigating and learning how.

I'll teach you.
We'll work through the hard stuff together... virtually.
Yes, from the privacy, safety, & security of your own home or peaceful space.
Meet Wendy

Back to a sense of aliveness.

Increase your quality of life, release hurts that stem from grief and loss, and take a balanced look at your lived experience.

  • One-to-One Healing: The First Year After.

    • Who it's for:  People who want to move beyond the heaviness, burden, and pain of loss but are not interested in years and years of talking. It could be that you're still feeling loss, heaviness, anger, and all talked out. Perhaps you're experiencing foggy, unfocused, or distracted thinking and it's impacting your decision-making and your life and you are frustrated by continuing to carry residual grief, loss, and heartache.
      This is for you.

    • Also for those currently in therapy and are feeling stuck or that progress has hit a plateau. One-to-One Private Healing works beautifully to help get unstuck and make real, heart-opening progress alongside your current healing protocol.

      • What it does:  We examine exactly how much and all loss you've experienced to date and then we immediately and directly begin the heart-healing process in a gentle way with specific small tasks that help you learn how to release emotional pain. This is a one-year commitment of support to yourself and your healing.

  • Going Inside: Your Write to Release Companion Program
    The main premise of this deeper dive program is to take pen to paper daily and to write for relief, release, understanding, insights, and opportunities. Prompts are delivered daily via email. There are 2 (two), 1-hour Write, Release & Coach group sessions weekly.
    This is a paid, annual membership offering.

    • Who it's for: Designed and structured to work for those in a season of loss who are walking a path to relief, release, healing, and better understanding.

      This is appropriate and geared for those looking to maintain a steady emotional state, people who know they operate better when they do a little writing on paper each day, those who want to practice more and better self care with support and in community.
      This includes:
      • Coaches encouraged to work with thought models and downloads;
      • Creatives and healers who want to write their morning pages more consistently;
      • People in recovery programs that encourage or stipulate writing or journalling;
      • People who know they enjoy writing and are struggling to incorporate it into their days;
      • People who are struggling to "just feel better" and self-identify as spending "too much in their heads."

        • What it does: The practice of writing with pen to paper is one that reconnects the brain (or mind) with the body in a way that relieves pressure, anxiety, emotional pain. The act of writing by hand is one of release onto the page, which can definitely be considered a safe environment.

          I believe in the notion of body wisdom. A pen to paper practice activates body wisdom and slows the mind so a person may become more present with themselves, feel more alive, be more at peace with themselves and others.

          Solutions to issues or problems often appear. Next steps can be illuminated. Opportunities may be identified and decisions can be made from a place of calm, mindful peace.

  • Podcast: A new episode of the Heart Healing from Loss Podcast is released each week. There is lots of room within the topic of grief and loss, and we'll gently open the conversation about different kinds of losses, end-of-life, and yes, death too. Bonus: I'll introduce you to some fantastic humans along the way.

    • Who it's for: Listeners who suspect they're experiencing grief, but don't know how to go into or "do" grief. People who are working in service industries and eager to hear more about this pervasive, un-discussed, overlooked part of life. You'll be able to listen in a private, quiet way and you'll also feel welcome in each episode. This is for you.

      • What it does: More than anything, you will hear that you are not alone. And you may be surprised to find how much loss, grief, letting go, sadness, and other normal, natural feelings are a part of many aspects of our life experience. You'll learn about grief... and you'll also know, hear, learn, and be... in good company.

  • Pen-to-Paper Daily Community: A Public Facebook Community Group

    • Who it's for: People curious about deeper inner work, those who are struggling with accountability for their writing practice and could use some gentle support and direction. Those who have an established practice and would like more community and accountability are absolutely welcome.

      This is also one way to work with me, get to know me, and begin to help yourself with some very simple, very accessible tools. Access requires a Facebook account and the agreement to our Group Rules.

      • What it does:  Participation in the group establishes a gentle writing practice, so momentum begins and motivation is shared. Successes are celebrated and the desire and willingness to continue grows.

        No one need ever share anything of what gets written in the group, the main point is to put pen to paper, to show up to the page, and give ourselves a little time, attention, and reconnection while giving our minds a break.
